I have been diagnosed with coeliac disease and an egg allergy. The egg allergy only seemed to start during my last pregnancy 13 years ago. I have other gastrointestinal issues also which mean that I have to be careful of what I eat. I wanted to set this blog up to provide recipes for people who need to have a gluten-free and/or egg-free diet.
I am married to Michael and we have four children. Three are adults and the youngest is twelve.
If you are experiencing gut hassles and think that you may have a problem with gluten, please make sure that you visit your doctor for investigation. It is really important that testing for coeliac disease happens while you are actively eating gluten, otherwise the test results could be negative even if you do have coeliac problems. So many nasty things can go wrong with the gut and it’s really important to be tested for them before starting any diet. So please, find yourself a good GP, gastroenterologist and allergist.
